Bogotá, August 29, 2025. With over 16,000 attendees, the 31st edition of the ESS+ International Security Fair concluded in Bogotá. The three-day event, from August 27 to 29, demonstrated the presence of technology, particularly that based on generative artificial intelligence, in a wide range of systems and solutions presented by exhibitors. The fair was organized by PAFYC and Corferias and took place in the Gran Salón of the fairgrounds.
“Thanks to the joint work between PAFYC and Corferias, it is consolidating itself, edition after edition, as one of the most important trade fairs in the field of security in the region, with nearly 250 exhibitors and more than 200 brands represented, from 26 countries,” highlighted Laura Silva, project manager of the International Security Fair, Corferias.
This edition was the stage for companies, entities, opinion leaders, decision makers and the general public to appreciate the future of security.
In this way, the fair extended to various areas and activities, with multiple focuses of attention: protection systems for critical infrastructures, monitoring of large areas through robots, developments focused on human protection and registration in educational settings, human protection and reaction systems in cases of fire, among others.
“Safety and security are activities that cut across all areas of human activity,” commented the Fair's director, Patricia Acosta, who defined the results of the event as a success, not only because of the business deals that were finalized, but also because of the importance of the academic agenda and the six trade meetings that took place during the fair, with 170 speakers and experts, fulfilling the transfer of knowledge and the live exhibition of the innovations that mark the future of security.

The ESS+ 2025 International Security Fair has also shown its importance as a showcase for brands and integrator firms, and this has been a widespread comment during the fair.
This was stated by Denis Grebennikov, VP of Business Development at Wialon, a Belarusian company specializing in telematics solutions for fleet protection. “For us, this is a very special showcase. We have attended on previous occasions, and it's here that we meet our business partners, integrators who amplify our commercial efforts. We have made excellent contacts, as this trade fair is very focused on our business.”
Smart, efficient and sustainable security
EZVIZ brought its latest home automation solutions for homes and small businesses to ESS+ 2025, incorporating cutting-edge technology in video surveillance, connectivity, and smart control, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. Paola Rojas, the company's marketing manager, stated, “We are proud to present our innovations at ESS+ 2025, designed to make security smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable. With energy-optimizing technologies and products that combine design, connectivity, and ease of use, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting homes and businesses in Colombia, improving people's lives through reliable and accessible solutions.”
A great window for networking
